ABC Renews Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, Claim to Fame and Press Your Luck

“Who Wants to Be a Millionaire,” “Claim to Fame” and “Press Your Luck” have all received greenlights for new seasons at ABC.

The news comes as the network sets its summer programming lineup for 2024. Highlights include the premiere of Jenn Tran’s season of “The Bachelorette” on July 8, the return of “Celebrity Family Feud” on July 9 followed by a previously announced special titled “Family Feud: Decades of Laughs”, as well as the return of “Judge Steve Harvey” on July 16. On July 13, a new game show titled “Lucky 13” hosted by Gina Rodriguez and Shaquille O’Neal will premiere.

ABC will also kick off its Sunday movie lineup with “Inside Out” on June 2, and will air the 2024 ESPYS on July 11.

The new season of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire,” premiering on July 10, brings the game show to its 25th anniversary. Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, this iteration will feature a new twist with two celebrity contestants playing together with the hope of winning $1 million for the charity of their choice.

Also on July 10, Kevin and Franklin Jonas return to host “Claim to Fame” for its third season. The series challenges relatives of celebrities to live together under one roof and conceal their identity while competing in challenges and forming strategic partnerships in hopes of avoiding elimination to win a $100,000 prize.

“Press Your Luck” debuts its sixth season on July 18. With Elizabeth Banks as host, the quiz show tests contestants’ knowledge with 13 true-or-false trivia questions with a twist: If they can accurately predict how successfully they’ve answered 13 questions, they could take home a $1 million prize.
